The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire Andrew Janocko, the former Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach, as their offensive coordinator, a team source told The Athletic on Sunday.
Las Vegas becomes the fourth stop where Janocko and new Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak have worked together, following stints with the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints, as well as last season’s Super Bowl victory with Seattle.
This would be Janocko’s first OC role, although Kubiak has previously indicated he will handle play-calling duties.
Kubiak’s coaching staff is coming together quickly as the Raiders promoted run game coordinator/defensive line coach Rob Leonard to defensive coordinator on Saturday.
Janocko and Kubiak will need to find ways to revive one of the worst offenses in the 2025 season — Las Vegas was last in points, total yards, rushing yards and red zone efficiency.
The Raiders have the first pick in this spring’s NFL Draft, which will give them a chance to select Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana. Kubiak was also asked multiple times about his thoughts on Mendoza during the new head coach’s introductory news conference, but he stayed away from making any definitive statements about working with the national champion QB.
