Rambolek dethrones Nabil Anane to claim ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title

Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon delivered the performance of his career on March 20, systematically dismantling Nabil Anane across five rounds to claim the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship via unanimous decision at ONE Championship’s The Inner Circle Superfan Club at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 23-year-old Superbon Training Camp product came out composed and disciplined, using his range to frustrate the defending champion and timing him with a clean right hand early. Anane pressed forward looking for the clinch that defined his reign, but Rambolek made him pay every time he lunged in.

The second round shifted the fight permanently. Rambolek went to work on the champion’s lead leg with punishing low kicks, each one landing with enough force to visibly buckle and hobble the Algerian-Thai. Anane tried to fight through it by throwing down the middle, but the damage was already done.

Round three was decisive. A thunderous overhand right dropped Anane to the canvas and swung the scorecards firmly in Rambolek’s favor. He repeated the formula in the fourth, luring the champion into a rush before cracking him with another overhand right that sent him down for a second time.

Heading into the fifth with a comfortable lead, Rambolek fought smart, using his push kick as a wall and his knee to neutralize the clinch. When the final bell rang, all three judges agreed. Rambolek improved to 68-14 and became the new face of the bantamweight Muay Thai division.

The championship win is the culmination of one of ONE Championship’s most electric ascents. Rambolek became the first fighter to earn a six-figure contract through the ONE Friday Fights series, then proceeded to run through every opponent placed in front of him on the main roster.

Five straight promotional wins, including back-to-back knockouts of Dmitrii Kovtun and Abdulla Dayakaev, built the case for a title shot that was eventually impossible to deny.

The victory is also a statement for Superbon Training Camp, which sent two warriors into Lumpinee on Thursday night chasing gold. Nong-O Hama fell short in the main event, but Rambolek delivered on his end of the deal, bringing the bantamweight belt back to the gym in banner fashion.
