Monday Night Football in Week 17 of the 2025 NFL campaign is a showdown in the NFC between the Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons. It’s a pretty big one for multiple reasons. Los Angeles (11-4) is playing for playoff seeding, while Atlanta (6-9) can still impact the NFC South race that is down to Carolina and Tampa Bay.
Let’s dive into my Rams vs. Falcons predictions.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Atlanta Falcons odds
Money line: Rams -370 / Falcons +295
Spread: Rams -7 (-115) / Falcons +7 (-105)
Total: Over 49.5 (-115) / Under 49.5 (-105)
Los Angeles Rams vs. Atlanta Falcons best bet #1: Rams -7 (-115)
The Rams played what has to be considered the game of the year in Week 16. They lost an overtime thriller at NFC West rival Seattle 38-37. Los Angeles really should have won; it was the better team for the vast majority of that game. Confidence should still be very high, plus the Rams have enjoyed a mini-bye since Week 17 was a Thursday Night Football matchup. They are playing on extra rest, will be motivated coming off a loss, and have even more reason to win this particular game since they own the Falcons’ first-round draft pick in 2026. Every Atlanta loss helps.
The last time the Falcons faced an opponent that is currently inside the playoff cut line was Week 14 against none other than Seattle, the team that just beat L.A. The result was an embarrassing 37-9 home loss. Now Atlanta is being priced to stay within one possession of a high-powered Los Angeles squad? That seems generous at best. Veteran backup Kirk Cousins has actually looked decent in place of Michael Penix Jr. under center, but an immobile QB against Jared Verse and the Rams’ dangerous pass rush is not a recipe for success.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Atlanta Falcons best player prop bet: Kyren Williams Over 62.5 rushing yards (-113)
L.A. could really carve up Atlanta on the ground. Monday’s likely game script is for the Rams to build a sizable lead right away and then work the clock. That’s where Williams can go to work. He rushed 23 times during last week’s loss to Seattle and it would be no surprise to see him get at least 20 carries against the Falcons.
The Notre Dame product is facing a defense that ranks No. 25 against the run, giving up 128.2 yards per game on 4.6 yards per carry. Williams has rushed for 70 yards or more in six of the last seven outings, including more than 80 three times during this stretch.
