The Rangers lines tonight seem to be a bit curious, and while we won’t know the full lines until warmups, what we do know is the Rangers are scratching both Juuso Parssinen and Jonny Brodzinski. That means the returning JT Miller, who will already be taking Gabe Perreault’s spot on PP1, will be playing center as one of four centers dressing tonight. Since it’s expected Mika Zibanejad’s line will stay the same, we don’t know what order Miller, Vincent Trocheck, and Noah Laba will be in the lineup.
Given how well the Laba, Tye Kartye, and Conor Sheary line has looked, hopefully that line sticks. However that doesn’t seem like it will be the case unless Miller returns as the 4C to limit his minutes. That is certainly possible, but all signs point to Noah Laba being the 4C in the Rangers lines tonight.
To reiterate: It’s not confirmed that Miller will be the 3C and Laba the 4C, it looks like that will be the case.
