Kansas City Chiefs star Rashee Rice has gone Instagram official with new girlfriend Rubi Rose, just one month after the mother of his children’s shock assault claims.
Rice, 25, and the stunning rapper, 28, hard-launched their relationship on Valentine’s Day after sharing a number of loved-up posts on the social-media platform.
The smitten couple are seen posing for a mirror selfie together in one of the photos, with Rose – who has almost five million followers on Instagram – also posting snaps of her and the NFL wide receiver sharing a kiss and riding a quad bike together.
She also appeared to suggest her beau has treated her to an expensive pair of shoes, while also uploading a heartwarming video of her gifting him a new luxury bag.
Rice has unveiled his relationship with Rose a little over a month after the bombshell domestic violence allegations made by his ex-girlfriend Dacoda Jones.
Jones, the mother of his two children, uploaded 14 pictures and a lengthy statement on Instagram in early January showing cuts and bruises over her body, parts of her home trashed and her clothes ripped apart.

While she did not specifically name the Chiefs player in her post, it was interpreted as an allegation against him. His team said in a statement that they were aware of the post and the NFL opened an investigation the following day. Rice did not respond.
However, within a matter of days Jones deleted her social media post where she claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse.
Her initial statement at the time read: ‘I’m so tired of keeping quiet I’m so tired of protecting his image. I’ve been through too much in a span of 8 years and I’ve had ENOUGH!
‘I’ve dealt with abuse for years, me and this man decided to break up a couple months ago and since then it’s been nothing but hell.
‘He’s very controlling, there’s been times he’s came to my new home broken my door, there’s been times when he would put his hands on me while I was pregnant even had the audacity to lock me outside all night in ten degree weather because he got caught cheating.’
She continued: ‘He’s cut up all my shoes and clothes leaving me with nothing because he gotten caught up. And there’s multiple instances of cheating but besides that I’m just tired of him not doing right by my boys. It’s not fair he doesn’t call them. He rather be layed up with hoes.
‘He literally left us in Kansas and I had to beg him to send money so that I could drive to Texas with my kids and all our stuff. We have an agreement because of everything he’s put me through and he still doesn’t follow it. He’s now trying to remove me and my kids from our home for no apparent reason. I’ve known this man for YEARS.
‘He tries to put on this persona like he’s dad of the year. He does the bare minimum and I have to beg for that. I’ve protected his image too long and I’m done doing that. It’s time to protect my peace, protect my children and stand up for myself.’

Jones, the mother of his two children, deleted the social-media posts within a matter of days
Jones’ post received support from Chariah Gordon, the partner of Rice’s former Chiefs teammate Mecole Hardman, and Sheawna Weathersby, who used to date the Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones.
According to TMZ, Rice’s grandmother denied the claims and said Jones lied about the alleged abuse after the former couple had a dispute over paying for an apartment.
In July 2025, the Super Bowl winner Rice was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years’ probation for his role in a multicar crash on a Dallas highway in May 2024, after racing a friend in a Lamborghini. He was also ordered to pay $115,482 to the victims to cover medical expenses.
He was filmed fleeing the scene and later pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges – collision involving serious bodily injury and racing on a highway causing bodily injury.
The Chiefs failed to make the playoffs last season after enduring a miserable 6-11 campaign. Head coach Andy Reid is expected to oversee an offseason of change but based solely on ability Rice, who is on a $6.5million contract, is set to be a central part of the organization’s future.
He started the season with a six-game suspension due to his involvement in that Dallas car accident. Rice was also recovering from an ACL tear that was sustained in the previous year.
