Manchester United will hope to take a huge step towards Champions League qualification when they visit Bournemouth in the Premier League on Friday night.
The Red Devils beat fellow top four contenders Aston Villa 3-1 at on Sunday afternoon, with Casemiro, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko on the scoresheet at Old Trafford.
That result leaves Michael Carrick’s side third in the top flight table, and victory against the Cherries on Friday would move them a step closer to qualification for next term’s Champions League.
In the meantime, it has emerged that one member of Carrick’s squad is on the radar of one of the world’s biggest clubs.
As per Spanish outlet Defensa Central, via TEAMtalk, Real Madrid have identified United full-back Diogo Dalot as a potential transfer target.
The report claims that the La Liga giants are interested in the Portugal international, who primarily plays at right-back but is also capable of playing on the left.

Dalot, 26, joined United from Portuguese outfit Porto in 2018 and has since made 240 appearances for the club across all competitions, as well as spending time on loan at Italian side AC Milan.
It is claimed that the Portuguese’s performances for the Red Devils have attracted interest from Real Madrid, with the Spanish side willing to offer around £26 million for the player this summer.
Dalot is under contract at Old Trafford until the end of the 2027/28 season, but it appears increasingly likely that Real could look to lure the player to Spain when the transfer window reopens this summer.
It is claimed that Real are interested in Dalot as an alternative target to Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi, who could prove too expensive.
Despite this, United are likely to demand a fee in excess of £26 million for Dalot, according to the report.
