April 10, 2026 – Bangkok, Thailand: ONE Championship (ONE) hosted yet another electrifying evening at the historic Lumpinee Stadium with The Inner Circle.
In the main event, lightweight Muay Thai titleholder Regian Eersel defeated Thailand’s Rungrawee “Legatron” Sitsongpeenong via unanimous decision to claim the vacant ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship. The Surinamese-Dutch superstar proved once again why he is a pound-for-pound great with a masterful five-round performance.
“The Immortal” Eersel utilized his length to trap Rungrawee on the outside, unleashing a high volume of combinations from range in round one. Eersel’s signature jumping knees kept his Thai opponent constantly on the back foot in the first two stanzas, as the Amsterdam native built a commanding lead on the scorecards.
Eersel’s momentum peaked in the third frame when he uncorked a blistering combination that sent Rungrawee crashing to the canvas for a massive knockdown. The Thai warrior showed incredible heart to survive the onslaught, but Eersel continued his relentless attack in the fourth.
Rungrawee tried to press the action in the fifth round, but his desperation led to costly mistakes, as the Thai athlete was deducted a point for connecting with an illegal elbow. The fouls lit a fire under Eersel, who went completely berserk with his offense in the final moments of the match to cement his dominance.
All three judges awarded the match to Eersel, crowning him the undisputed king of the lightweight division, and once again a two-sport ONE World Champion.
