Remco Express part 2, AlUla stage 4

With around 55 kilometres, on a demanding Mallorcan course with second-category climbs, Remco Evenepoel raised the tempo on the Coll de Soller, putting rivals under pressure. He rode away from the field with a long-range solo to claim his first road victory for Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe.

“It is a beautiful race and also one that is tough enough to make a difference.”

“After the last corner I was a bit in the back, but I was right behind Milan and tried to stay on his wheel. It turned out to be the best choice. I’m very happy to beat such a strong sprinter as Milan today. We worked hard over the winter, and it’s a huge satisfaction to see that work pay off.”

-Matteo Malucelli scores a surprise win on stage 4.
