Rennsport delays first DLC “to focus on fixing issues”

Three classic endurance machines and the Le Mans track were set for a December launch, but will now arrive in February.

Following its early access exit and console edition release, Rennsport has issued three major patches.

These have been working through a long list of changes, and consequently, according to the creators, this will remain the focus for now.

As a result, the Endurance Classics Part 1 DLC pack – which will be available to purchase separately, but access was also bundled with the Deluxe Edition – will no longer be released this month.

Instead, it has been pushed to February 2026.

“Given that we have changed our patching strategy to focus on fixing issues that have been reported, and listening to the feedback out there, we made the decision to push back the release of the Endurance Classics Part 1 into February next year,” said Rennsport Creative Director, Kim Orremark, on a recent ‘Radio Check’ video update.

“[This is] to be able to focus on the patches that we have been doing since launch to fix issues.”

The set will include the following cars and track:

  • Porsche 911 GT1
  • Mercedes-Benz CLK LM
  • Porsche 956
  • 24h Le Mans De La Sarthe Circuit

Rennsport’s current roster is made up entirely of contemporary, present-day machines.

“This [Endurance Pack Part 1] is the first big [DLC] release after launch, and we want to get that right,” continued Orremark.

“We want to make sure we have a level of quality we feel proud of with this release, and to do that, the delay really helps us.”

Orremark also teased during the same presentation that additional content will arrive at the same time for the base game:

“With this [launch] comes some content that is part of the DLC package, but there are also going to be other updates to the game that are not necessarily part of the DLC.

“To give you some examples of that, we’re looking at deepening the single player experience, and also heavily improving the AI behaviour. We’re also looking to add more content to the game that is also not necessarily part of the DLC; it’s added to anyone who owns the base game.

Further details are expected in “early 2026”, and another patch is expected to be released for all platforms tomorrow, 11th December 2025.
