Rennsport’s 2026 roadmap has been revised as the developer needs to “finalise the logistics of transitioning to self-publishing on consoles”
Last month, Rennsport unveiled an extensive 2026 roadmap previewing upcoming updates rolling out over the next few months, with the first major update and DLC originally scheduled for March.
This has since changed, with a social media post confirming that the first free update and Endurance Classics DLC will now be arrive in April.
According to the social media post, the delay is due to the developer needing to “finalise the logistics of transitioning to self-publishing on consoles” following its split with Nacon, which published the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions last year.
A release date for the free update and DLC will be announced in April, but the “content is ready” and the “patch is built,” according to the developer.
The free update is set to add the Hyundai N Vision 74 alongside three tracks: Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit, Road Atlanta (short) and Fuji Speedway (shortcut). This will be supplemented with updated single-player championships featuring asynchronous leaderboards with points rewarded for your pace, position and precision.
Alongside the free update will be Rennsport’s first premium car and track pack, with the Endurance Classics Part 1 DLC adding the Porsche 911 GT1, Mercedes-Benz CLK LM, Porsche 956, Peugeot 9X9 EVO, Circuit de la Sarthe.
The revised roadmap also means that the free update originally planned for April will now be released in May. This update will include the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 and two tracks: Laguna Seca and Sebring International Raceway.
Originally scheduled for May, the Touring Classics Part 1 DLC will now arrive in June with the Hockenheimring Classic circuit and four cars: the Alfa Romeo 155 V8 TI, Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 EVO II, BMW M3 E30 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class V8.
In the same month, a free update will add two unannounced tracks, a new car and new single player championships. Originally planned for May, improvements to the often-ridiculed single-player AI will now arrive in June.
Another unannounced premium DLC pack will follow in September alongside a free update adding an unknown new track and more single player championships.
