Report: WWE Looking To Revamp Auction Platform And Offer Event-Used Products

According to Sports Business Journal, WWE is looking to revamp its auction platform and plans to offer products used during events. The report also indicates that WWE intends to auction more exclusive content during the WrestleMania 42 weekend, scheduled for next month.

The new auction platform will provide buyers and collectors access to historically significant and impactful items, with more unique products set to be announced at a later date.

This revitalization began with an auction for an event-worn knee brace belonging to WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, which was used at WrestleMania 38, where Austin wrestled his final match against Kevin Owens. The knee brace sold for $58,000. Additionally, WWE recently celebrated Austin 3:16 Day on Monday, March 16th.
