Ronda Rousey stunned fans with a surprise appearance at the 2026 AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, where she confronted Toni Storm following Storm’s match.
According to a report from Bryan Alvarez, only a small number of people within WWE were aware that Rousey would be appearing on the pay-per-view. However, most within the company were reportedly “shocked” when she showed up during the event.
Rousey emerged after Storm defeated Marina Shafir. The moment quickly escalated into a tense confrontation between Storm and Rousey inside the ring before security rushed out to separate them. The crowd responded with heavy boos as Rousey exited through the audience alongside Shafir.
Rousey is also preparing for a return to mixed martial arts, as she is scheduled to face Gina Carano in May 2026 under Most Valuable Promotions, the promotion run by Jake Paul. The fight is expected to stream on Netflix.
After leaving WWE in 2023, Rousey wrestled sporadically on the independent scene and in Ring of Honor, where she teamed with Shafir. Her most recent match took place in November 2023.
