TNA iMPACT Results

The show opens with TNA World Champion Mike Santana standing in the ring. The commentary team confirms that Santana will defend his title against Eddie Edwards at TNA Rebellion.

Santana takes the microphone as the crowd rallies behind him. He reflects on his most recent title defense against Steve Maclin at Sacrifice. Santana calls Maclin one of the toughest SOBs in the business today but reminds everyone that he was still dropped by the TNA World Champion.

He says he fulfilled his promise of entering Rebellion as champion and vows to leave the same way.

Santana then shifts his focus to Eddie Edwards, noting that Edwards has finally cashed in his Feast or Fired briefcase, setting up their showdown for the TNA World Championship at Rebellion.

The System Interrupts

Eddie Edwards and Cedric Alexander make their way out to interrupt the segment.

Edwards grabs a mic and confidently states that he will defeat Mike Santana at TNA Rebellion on April 11 and become a three-time TNA World Champion.

Santana immediately fires back, challenging Edwards to fight him right there and then. Before things can escalate, Cedric Alexander steps in and cuts him off.

Alexander declares that Santana won’t be the only champion walking into Rebellion with problems. He then turns his attention to X-Division Champion Leon Slater, accusing Slater of ducking him and avoiding a confrontation.

As Edwards and Alexander begin moving closer toward the ring, the arena erupts when Leon Slater’s music hits. The X-Division Champion Leon Slater makes his way out, staring down the duo and joining the tense standoff as the confrontation intensifies.

Tension Intensifies

Leon Slater responds confidently in the ring, stating that he has already proven himself by retaining the X-Division Championship against Cedric Alexander.

Before Slater can continue, Alexander cuts him off again, escalating the tension. He declares that The System will leave Rebellion holding all the gold, claiming they will capture the Tag Team Titles, the X-Division Championship, and even the TNA World Championship.

Suddenly, Mustafa Ali’s music hits and the arena shifts again. The leader of Order 4 storms out with his entourage, inserting himself into the heated verbal exchange.

Mustafa Ali declares that he will be the next International Champion, confidently delivering his signature catchphrase to the crowd.

However, before he can fully bask in the moment, he is interrupted by the reigning International Champion Trey Miguel, who steps out to a strong reaction, locking eyes with Ali and asserting his place in the chaos.

Miguel fires back at Ali, calling him a coward and escalating the stakes by officially announcing that he will put his International Championship on the line at Rebellion. The tension in the ring continues to rise as both sides argue over momentum and numbers.

The heels quickly point out that the babyfaces are clearly outnumbered and have the odds stacked against them.

Before things can spiral further, Moose’s music hits and the arena erupts. The “Face of the Franchise” makes quick work of The Great Hands and joins Santana, Slater, and Miguel inside the ring, evening the numbers and teasing a full-blown showdown.

Huge Match Made Official on TNA iMPACT

Ali then turns to the crowd and asks if they want to see the match right now. The audience responds with a loud, emphatic roar of approval.

Before any chaos can officially break loose, Santino Marella’s music hits, and the TNA Director of Authority makes his way to the stage to restore order.

Marella announces an impromptu eight-man tag team match set to take place immediately.

It will be Mike Santana, Leon Slater, Trey Miguel, and Moose vs. Eddie Edwards, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, and Special Agent Zero.

Mike Santana, Leon Slater, Trey Miguel, and Moose vs. Eddie Edwards, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, and Special Agent Zero

  • The finish of the match saw Eddie Edwards hit Mike Santana with the Boston Knee Party for the win.

Winners: Eddie Edwards, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, and Special Agent Zero

Grade: A+

A fast-paced, chaotic eight-man tag team match opened TNA iMPACT in strong fashion.

Special Agent Zero’s showdown with Moose drew one of the biggest reactions of the night, with the crowd fully invested in their hard-hitting exchanges. The momentum swung back and forth throughout, keeping all eight competitors heavily involved.

The closing stretch delivered exactly what fans expected, as each participant managed to hit their signature moves and finishers in rapid succession, turning the match into a highlight reel of chaos.

In the end, Eddie Edwards scored a huge pinfall victory over Mike Santana, giving him major momentum just under two weeks before their TNA Rebellion World Championship clash. The win adds serious stakes and doubt heading into their title match, setting the stage for a high-pressure showdown.

Santino Marella and Daria Rae Segment

Daria Rae confronts Santino Marella backstage in his office, clearly frustrated with his recent decision-making.

She questions Santino for continuously booking impromptu matches on iMPACT, suggesting that his approach is becoming unpredictable and unprofessional. Santino Marella responds calmly, explaining that he is simply giving the fans what they want and reacting to the energy of the show.

Daria Rae pushes back, revealing that Santino was already the subject of a board meeting she just came from, implying his authority is being closely reviewed.

She then shifts focus to the Knockouts division, addressing the upcoming Knockouts World Championship match between Arianna Grace and Xia Brookside.

Without hesitation, Daria Rae ultimately asserts her authority, ordering Santino Marella to leave his own office, leaving him stunned as she takes control of the situation.

Eric Young Confronts Ricky Sosa

A backstage footage showing Ricy Sosa after he received a major endorsement at TNA Sacrifice airs. Sosa is congratulated by the TNA roster after his signing before being confronted by Eric Young. EY calls himself the gatekeeper of TNA, saying he has his eyes on Sosa. A potential feud is teased.

We Hear from The Hardys

TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys are in the ring. Matt speaks about The Righteous attacking him in the lead-up to Sacrifice. He briefly channels Broken Matt Hardy before Jeff questions Vincent about the plot against his brother, especially after Vincent had his face painted by Jeff.

The Righteous interrupt, with Vincent and Dutch justifying their betrayal of the TNA World Tag Team Champions. Dutch says The Hardys are not the victims but the offerings, teasing a higher power behind their actions.

Matt becomes impatient and warns The Righteous of apocalyptic consequences. Vincent says they will collide, but not tonight. Matt then challenges the duo to a tag team match next week on TNA iMPACT.

The Righteous accept, but Dutch demands the match be extreme. Jeff Hardy then announces that The Hardys will put their TNA World Tag Team Championship on the line next week in a Tables Match, sending the crowd into a huge pop at the announcement.

Champions Don’t Lose

Mike Santana is dealing with his loss when he is interrupted by Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace and Stacks. Arianna mocks Santana for taking the pin in the match and says, from experience, that champions don’t lose.

Santana tells them to leave but ends up in a confrontation with Stacks. The pair leaves after finishing their verbal attack on the TNA World Champion.

Santana then turns to the camera and asks what they are doing there, implying NXT stars aren’t supposed to pop up in the iMPACT Zone.

Tessa Blanchard vs. Jody Threat – Bunkhouse Match

  • The finish of the match saw Tessa Blanchard choke Jody Threat into unconsciousness with a belt for the win.

Winner: Tessa Blanchard

Grade: B+

The match suffered from a lack of TV time. Still, both women made history by competing in the first-ever Knockouts Bunkhouse Match. Tessa getting her body twisted as Jody was choking her on the turnbuckle was a violent sight to see.

Ryan Nemeth Wants to Know Who Attacked His Brother

Ryan Nemeth is looking for the person who attacked his brother when he bumps into BDE. Nemeth engages in a war of words with Brandon before Frankie Kazarian shows up. Kazarian completely butchers BDE’s name on purpose.

BDE says he is not backing down from a fight. Kazarian responds that he is not offering one, but he can tear apart BDE right now.

Elijah’s music hits and The Drifter emerges, prompting Kazarian and Ryan Nemeth to walk out. A future tag team match is teased featuring Elijah and BDE against Kazarian and Nemeth.

AJ Francis vs. Home Town Man

  • The finish of the match saw AJ Francis hit his TFL spear and Down Payment chokeslam combo on Home Town Man for the win.

Winner: AJ Francis

Francis has the mic. He references the attack on Nic Nemeth and tells production to roll the footage. After the footage airs, Francis takes responsibility for taking out Nic.

Francis then recalls his TNA debut against Joe Hendry two years ago. He says he has been taking out fan favorites, naming Mike Santana, Chavo Guerrero, and former FIR$T CLA$$ member KC Navarro as his victims

Ryan Nemeth confronts AJ but quickly backs away. Francis challenges Nic Nemeth to a match at Rebellion before calling himself the best big man in wrestling and delivering his catchphrase.

Grade: B-

Home Town Man is an entertaining gimmick, but the highlight was clearly AJ Francis’s post-match promo. Francis delivered a classic “It was me, Austin” style reveal regarding the attack on Nic Nemeth.

Still, this writer is leaning toward Ryan Nemeth as the mastermind behind the attack. Why? He has been in his brother’s shadow for far too long.

Xia Brookside’s Birthright

Lei Ying Lee plays a message from Xia Brookside’s father, Robbie Brookside, ahead of tonight’s Knockouts World Championship match. Brookside’s father tells her to embrace the moment and win the world title, saying it is her birthright.

Arianna Grace (c) vs. Xia Brookside – TNA Knockouts World Title Match

  • The finish of the match saw Arianna Grace hit Xia Brookside with the title belt before planting her with Fall From Grace for the win.

Winner and still Knockouts World Champion: Arianna Grace

After the match, Arianna Grace and Stacks are about to jump Lei Ying Lee when Mike Santana arrives to make the save. Santana gets into a verbal confrontation with Grace. Stacks tries to interrupt but is hit with a Spin the Block.

As Grace and Stacks exit the ring, Eddie Edwards emerges from the crowd. Edwards claims Grace got inside Mike’s head before mocking him for getting pinned not once but twice by The System’s main man.

Santana tells Edwards to jump the guardrail and face him like a man if he is so tough. Eddie teases a showdown but stops, saying he has already pinned Santana twice. Edwards says he will walk out of Rebellion as a three-time TNA World Champion while Mike will be remembered as the man who could not get his emotions in check.

Santana ends the segment with a passionate promo, vowing to defeat Eddie Edwards in their TNA World Championship match at Rebellion.

We see Tessa Blanchard walk into a room, wondering “what the hell this place is.” The camera then pans to Father James Mitchell sitting behind her, declaring, “Welcome to the Undead Realm,” before releasing a maniacal laugh as Blanchard realizes the horror she is about to endure.

Overall Grade: B-

This week’s episode of TNA iMPACT had a strong mix of storyline development and memorable moments, but it was held back by underwhelming matches and a lack of breathing room between segments.

The show did a good job building toward Rebellion, especially with the continued tension between Mike Santana and Eddie Edwards, plus multiple title pictures heating up at once. The eight-man tag opener set a chaotic but entertaining tone. AJ Francis’s promo and the Undead Realm tease involving Tessa Blanchard and James Mitchell were standout character moments that added real intrigue.

However, the show felt a bit overcrowded, with too many angles happening at once and not enough time given to fully develop some matches. The Knockouts Bunkhouse Match, in particular, felt rushed, and several segments leaned more toward setup than payoff.

That’s it for tonight, and this writer will be back next week with more coverage.
