Rhea Ripley Admits Pressure Is On To Deliver With Jade Cargill At WrestleMania

Rhea Ripley isn’t pretending WrestleMania will be easy, especially with Jade Cargill standing across the ring.

While speaking on The Ebro, Laura & Rosenberg Show, Ripley was asked directly about the pressure surrounding her upcoming WrestleMania match. With fans talking about this matchup for a long time, she admitted there’s already a lot riding on it before the bell even rings. Ripley didn’t hesitate when asked if she feels pressure heading into the match, especially knowing how much attention this bout is getting.

“I do. I do. I definitely do. Um I feel like this is a match that a lot of people have wanted for a long time, especially at WrestleMania. There’s already so much pressure going into that day and into that match.”

She also explained that her past WrestleMania performances make things even harder, because every year she feels like she has to match what she did before.

“And then also going off of last year, it was the same at WrestleMania 39 when I faced Charlotte. Then going into WrestleMania 40, I was like, I have to do just as well as I did the year before. Like I really have to.”

Ripley made it clear that facing Jade Cargill adds another layer to that pressure. With Cargill still gaining experience compared to others on the roster, Ripley said she feels responsible for helping bring the match to the level fans expect on WWE’s biggest stage.

“But now stepping in with someone that has only had limited experience within the wrestling industry compared to a lot of people on the show, I do have that pressure to kind of uplift her and bring her to a different level so we can go out there and we can make magic just like everyone expects from us.”

WrestleMania always brings pressure, but Ripley made it clear she knows exactly what’s expected when she steps into the ring. With fans already watching closely, this match could end up being one of the most talked-about moments of the night.
