Rhea Ripley Pushes for WWE Evolution to Become a Yearly Event

WWE Evolution 2 may have already been viewed internally as a major win, but Rhea Ripley is now making it clear she doesn’t want the momentum to stop there.

Following strong internal reactions to the all-women’s Premium Live Event, Ripley spoke on The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show on March 30, 2026 and made it clear she wants Evolution to become a regular fixture instead of something fans wait years to see again. Ripley first pointed to the level of effort the women’s division brings every time they get an opportunity, stressing that they consistently deliver no matter how much time they’re given.

“I know all of us women have really put in the time and effort into everything we’ve got, whether it’s 30 seconds or 20 minutes. It doesn’t matter how long we get — we’re going to make sure we’re talked about at the end of it.”

She then addressed the long gap between Evolution shows, making it clear that waiting eight years for Evolution 2 shouldn’t happen again after what the roster just delivered. That led directly into the key point — Ripley openly calling for WWE to turn Evolution into a yearly Premium Live Event moving forward.

“It’s awesome to see the women’s evolution grow. I know we had to wait eight years for Evolution 2, which was wild. But I feel like after Evolution 2, which was an all-women’s pay-per-view, we went out there and showed everyone what we can do. I hope it takes less time now for Evolution 3. I hope everyone watched that and went, ‘Wow, this needs to be a yearly thing,’ because we’re really busting our asses every time we’re out there.”

The Eradicator also made it clear this isn’t just about one event, but about building something bigger for the division long-term.

“We’re making sure we’re making as much history as we can along the way and setting up the future for better things as well. I really want to leave the company with the women’s division better off.”

After a card that saw Naomi cash in Money in the Bank to win the Women’s World Title, Becky Lynch retained in a triple threat, and multiple title matches delivered, the timing of her comments puts real pressure on WWE to follow through. There’s still no official word on Evolution 3, but with top talent now openly lobbying for it, the conversation has clearly shifted from “if” to “when.”
