Rich Paul says the Milwaukee Bucks should ask for one of his clients in a Giannis Antetokounmpo deal

It remains to be seen whether or not Giannis Antetokounmpo will be traded before the trade deadline this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his agent are reportedly talking to the Milwaukee Bucks about his future and a resolution is expected in the next few weeks.

However, it was also reported that the Bucks are telling teams they aren’t interested in trading their two-time MVP.

Still, the Giannis rumors continue to heat up as many teams have been linked to the Greek superstar.

NBA agent Rich Paul has many talented clients who he oversees in the NBA, but he wants to see the Bucks trade for Atlanta Hawks’ forward Jalen Johnson in a deal for Giannis.

“If I’m the Bucks, I’m looking at young player, high character, high talent, high IQ.

“I’m calling Atlanta. I want Jalen Johnson. He’s from Milwaukee.”

The Atlanta Hawks might make Jalen Johnson untouchable in trade talks

Johnson has been taking a superstar type leap for the Hawks this season. The 23-year-old has been playing so well that the Hawks might make him untouchable in trade talks for Giannis.

Johnson has averaged 23.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.6 steals on 53.4 percent shooting from the field and 40.4 percent shooting from three.

He has had many eye-popping performances including a 21-point, 18-rebound and 16-assist game against the Denver Nuggets, in which he had a triple-double in the first half.

Johnson also had an epic performance against the Utah Jazz of 31 points, 18 rebounds, 14 assists and 7 steals.

With how good Johnson has been, the Hawks would probably be more inclined to trade Trae Young and Zaccharie Risacher for Giannis instead of him.
