Here’s Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle on if he notices any differences in Victor Wembanyama from his first two years to now after Saturday’s 134-119 road loss vs. the San Antonio Spurs (20 points/8 rebounds/6 assists/1 steal/5 blocks/8-18 FG/1-4 3-PT/3-3 FT/+14 +/-).
(via Indiana Pacers):
“My feeling has been he’s been great the whole time, but he’s definitely getting better. It’s clear that he works hard on his game. Last year, it was probably hard to evaluate because he missed the second half or whatever it was. But look, there’s never been a player like him in the history of the game that has the kind of impact at both ends. It gives them a very special advantage, and I think that’s pretty obvious.”
