Mountain biking tends to be a highly personal activity. We tend to use a lot more “my” possessives than “ours.” It’s a haven for a lot of folks who didn’t resonate with traditional team sport culture and all the baggage that comes with it.
But, at the same time, I can’t help feeling the influence of many different people on every aspect of my riding, from how I think about gear, to how I see the trail, to how I position my body when riding that trail. So here’s a comic about that.
