Rishabh gets pressed by Shreevats for Rs. 100089 giveaway Tweet

Ex-West Bengal cricketer Shreevats Goswami, has criticized Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant for his out-of-ordinary tweet mentioning Neeraj Chopra as the athlete reaches his final event. Neeraj Chopra is about to compete in the finals of men’s javelin throw on August 8 as he will be aiming to replicate his previous victory by securing a gold medal for India yet again.

Rishabh Pant, who recently played in the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, sent out a tweet announcing that if Neeraj Chopra wins a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Rishabh will be give 1,00,089 Rupees to a lucky person. The winner will be based on who likes his tweet and has the most comments on the post.

Pant’s decision led to somewhat of a reaction to his supporters. A supporter account mimicking the star Indian batter Virat Kohli also gave his word to give Rs 50,000 to two lucky winners if Neeraj secures the gold medal.

Coming back to Rishabh’s tweet, Goswami was understandably confused for what might have been going through Pant’s mind while making this tweet and Goswami advised Pant to get rid of his PR team.
