Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper Rishabh Pant played a wonderful knock in the 70th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Tuesday, May 27.
Rishabh Pant punished the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowlers and hit his first century of the season in the Lucknow Super Giants vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru match at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Rishabh Pant hits a sensational century
Pant had an awful run with the bat in the Indian Premier League 2025 heading into the final match of the season for the Lucknow Super Giants.
The poor batting performances of the star wicketkeeper-batsman in the first 13 matches led to many experts demanding his release from the Lucknow Super Giants, as he didn’t justify his price tag of INR 27 crore.
However, Rishabh Pant made sure to shut all the talks with his batting masterclass against the Jitesh Sharma-led side. He saved his best for the last and looked in great touch.
Pant looked confident while facing the Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers from the very first ball, and he played an attacking brand of cricket throughout the innings.
Rishabh Pant completed his fifty off 29 balls, but he was not satisfied with it, and he ensured that he converted it into a triple-figure score. After smashing the RCB bowlers all over the park, Pant finally completed his ton in the 18th over.
The wicketkeeper-batsman hit a four against premier pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the 5th ball of the 18th over to reach the three-figure mark. Pant was absolutely delighted after hitting the ton, and he pulled off a special celebration.
Rishabh Pant removed his helmet and stopped Nicholas Pooran, who was approaching for a hug. He set his hair in style and then pulled off a somersault to celebrate his ton. The entire LSG dugout gave him a standing ovation, and there were cheers from the Lucknow crowd as well.
