Road Dogg admitted there was internal resistance to his push for Chelsea Green, saying “not everybody was a fan of Chelsea Green like I was” and that people backstage were “getting hot at me” over his ideas. He detailed a creative plan involving Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre taking over as Chelsea’s allies, explaining “I wanted Zoey Stark… best female wrestler I’ve seen in a long time” and mapping out how “they were gonna turn on Piper… really send her away for six months” before building toward bigger matches.
He acknowledged why some didn’t see it, noting “I totally understand people not seeing her worth” and “if you’re only looking through a top guy lens… I can see you not having her in that vision.” Still, he strongly disagreed, emphasizing “I also see the potential that she could be in that vision” and “I firmly believe that and I’ll go to my grave believing it.”
Doubling down on his praise, Road Dogg highlighted her mentality and toughness, calling her “the right kind of human being”, “a workhorse”, and someone who “says no to nothing and yes to everything.” He even added, “she kicked a 40-yard field goal with a broken ankle”, before summing it up with “for the love of God, the girl’s a national treasure.”
