The U.S. women’s national team’s first roster of 2026 is here.
Trinity Rodman, Yazmeen Ryan, and Ally Sentnor headline Emma Hayes’ 26-player roster for January’s training camp and pair of home friendlies, U.S. Soccer announced Thursday. Due to the camp and international window falling outside of a FIFA competition window, the roster has been compiled of mainly NWSL players.
Rodman is the headlining figure named to the roster, earning her first inclusion since April 2025. The Washington Spirit star attacker missed parts of last year due to respective injuries. She has been linked with a potential move to Europe this winter.
Maddie Dahlien, Reilyn Turner, Riley Jackson, and Sally Menti are the four first-time call ups for the USWNT this time around. Dahlien and Jackson played key roles in the U.S.’ third-place finish at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
A total of eight players called into the January roster have scored a senior international goal for the USWNT.
“Once again, our roster presents opportunity, for the coaching staff to evaluate players and for some NWSL players we haven’t seen as much in the National Team environment, as well as for some first-time call-ups, to show they can contribute in 2026, 2027 or beyond,” said Hayes. “We’re looking forward to having a few more training days than usual in this camp as well as getting two matches to see this part of the player pool in game action and hopefully add even more depth and options for our 2026 SheBelieves Cup roster.”
The January camp will conclude with home friendly matches against Paraguay on Jan. 24 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California and against Chile on Jan. 27 at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif.
