Mumbai Indians head coach Mahela Jayawardene has provided a massive injury update on Rohit Sharma ahead of the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025. He said that the batter looks in good shape and will be batting in the nets today (6th April).

Mumbai Indians are all set to lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their next game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is all set to take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday (7th April)

With the match around the corner, Mumbai Indians are mulling over the fitness of Rohit Sharma. The former skipper of the franchise coped with a blow to his knee while batting in the nets ahead of the game against Lucknow Super Giants. He wasn’t deemed fit to play and, hence, missed the game.

Rohit Sharma was also seen limping, and there were a lot of doubts about whether he would be available for the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru or not. However, head coach Mahela Jayawardene has come up with a positive update about the batter.

Mahela Jayawardene mentioned that Rohit Sharma looks good and will be batting in the nets on the eve of the game.
