Team India and Australia are keeping their chances in check to prepare for the almighty Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 set to begin November 22. The confusion around the availability of Rohit Sharma for the 1st Test in Perth has been keeping fans busy.
It has been, however reported that, Rohit Sharma will be going to leave for Australia with team India’s first batch for this important series.
To prepare for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Indian team will have to travel to Australia in two different batches. The first group will leave on November 10, and the second on November 11. The whole crew could not be sent by a single flight due to some operational challenges.
After India recently faced a series defeat to New Zealand, Rohit was questioned about his availability for the Test in Perth, to which he replied:
“I am not sure of my availability for the first Test in Perth, Fingers Crossed.”
It has been come to being known that Indian captain will leave with the first batch of the players. However, Rohit Sharma going with the first batch does not solidify his participation in the opening Test against Australia.
