Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Instead of mocking CM Punk’s age, Roman Reigns was originally going to respond to CM Punk’s jabs about his late father “with a darker response about Larry (Punk’s late dog), claims Bodyslam.net.
  • Per Post Wrestling, WWE currently has Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia scheduled for June 27, assuming conflict in the Middle East doesn’t prevent it.
  • Dave Meltzer made clear on Wrestling Observer Radio that while WWE is doing Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu on SmackDown, it’s just to build to another match between the two at WrestleMania 42.
  • Self Made Pro says they were told Je’Von Evans is likely for the multi-man match planned for Penta’s Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania 42.
  • PW Insider brings word the American Gladiators revival, which is hosted by The Miz, will debut this Spring on Prime Video.
