England’s gem bowler James Anderson has played his last Test Match against West Indies at the Iconic Lord’s Stadium and ended his cricketing career with a massive victory. He left behind his glorious illustrated Test career which will inspire many aspiring young talented players especially those who wanted to be a fast bowler. James Anderson ended his cricket journey from where he started his greatest journey. Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar wished him with a heartfelt message through his X handle after the match was over.

After a successful cricket career, England star bowler James Anderson took retirement from Cricket. After the Test match was over, every teammate of his and every West Indies player gave him honour. Every cricket star wished him the best for his future. India’s batting gem Sachin Tendulkar, who played against him, has written a heartfelt message on his X handle, where he appreciates his remarkable career and sends him good wishes for his future. 

He wrote, “ Hey Jimmy! You’ve bowled the fans over with that incredible 22-year spell. Here’s a little wish as you bid goodbye. It has been a joy to watch you bowl – with that action, speed, accuracy, swing and fitness. You’ve inspired generations with your game. Wish you a wonderful life ahead with good health and happiness as you put those new shoes on for the most important spell of your life – the time with family.”

James Anderson’s Glorified Test Career:

James Anderson has officially retired from Test cricket, marking the end of an extraordinary era for England. The legendary fast bowler concluded his illustrious career, which spanned an impressive 21 years. Anderson leaves behind a remarkable legacy, having played 188 Test matches and claiming 704 wickets. 

Throughout his career, he achieved several significant milestones: his 100th wicket was Jacques Kallis, his 200th was Peter Siddle, his 300th was Peter Fulton, his 400th was Martin Guptill, his 500th was Kraigg Brathwaite, and his 600th was Azhar Ali. Anderson’s historic 700th wicket came against Kuldeep Yadav in the Dharamsala Test. 

Anderson’s departure marks a significant moment in cricket history, as he has been a cornerstone of England’s bowling attack, known for his skill, consistency, and ability to perform in various conditions. His contributions to the sport will be remembered and celebrated for years to come.
