Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture on the occasion of Indian star batter Virat Kohli’s birthday at Puri Beach in Odisha on Tuesday.
Pattnaik made the sculpture using about 4 tons of sand. Students of his sand art institution joined in to complete the sculpture. Speaking to ANI, the sand artist also wished birthday to the Indian batting great.
“Today is Virat Kohli’s 36th birthday and for which we have created a special sand sculpture to wish him. As an artist, we celebrated his birthday through the sand sculpture,” Pattnaik said.
With an illustrious career spanning 15 years so far, Kohli has solidified his place as not only one of the best batters of his generation, but also as one of the best batters to ever grace the game.
He currently may be going through a rough patch, but one thing that everyone has got to remember is that a wounded tiger always comes back with a vengeance. All eyes will be on him in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar series which is set to commence later this month.
