Santos Escobar will be out of action for several months after surgery on a torn triceps, and AAA now has a clearer idea of how long he will be missing.
A new report from Fightful Select notes that this is not a short recovery, and Escobar is not expected to return until late summer at the earliest. The update comes after the 41-year-old Superstar underwent surgery this past week.
Escobar wrestled injured at AAA’s Rey De Reyes 2026 event on March 14, where he lost to El Grande Americano. Unfortunately, he aggravated his injury during the bout. Since re-signing with WWE in October, he has been a regular presence in Lucha Libre AAA.
Escobar remains under contract, but fans should not expect him back in the ring any time soon.
