With Mohamed Salah set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, it remains unclear where his next club will be.
It was announced last month that the Egyptian will depart Anfield this summer after a hugely successful nine-year spell with the Reds.
Salah joined Liverpool from Italian outfit Roma in the summer of 2017 and has since scored 255 goals in 435 matches for the club across all competitions, as well as registering 122 assists.
The Egypt international will leave the club at the end of the season, though, and it still remains to be seen where he will go.
Now, though, it has emerged that the Saudi Pro League are pushing hard in an effort to sign Salah this summer, according to TEAMtalk.
The report claims that the Saudi top division have stepped up their interest in the forward and are increasingly confident about their chances of reaching an agreement prior to this summer’s World Cup.

It is also claimed that recent talks have taken place, although a deal structure has effectively been in place since last year when they made a significant effort to sign the player.
While Salah is said to have considered a move to the Middle East, he ultimately opted to stay put and signed a new deal with the Reds which is set to run until the end of next season.
According to the report, Salah himself will be given the choice of which club within the Pro League he wishes to join, although Al Ittihad are currently believed to be the frontrunners to land the attacker.
Salah will also have the option to remain in Europe, the report says, with clubs in both Germany and Italy said to be interested in the forward.
