Scotland Women played with West Indies Women in a warm-up match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 where they won the match by two runs.

Scotland Women made 116 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Saskia Horley, an opener, proved that she is in form and made 37 runs of 40 balls that give Scotland Women a start. While other players did not contributed much, but Scotland reached to 116 runs by the end of the inning.

For West Indies Women, Ashmini Munisar took two wickets. Zaida James, Hayley Matthews, Karishma Ramharack, Aaliyah Alleyne and Afy Fletcher also took one wicket each.

West Indies Women tried their best to win the match but they remained sort of 2 runs and made 114/7 in 20 overs where the captain lead the batting charge with 36 runs off 35 balls.

Katherine Fraser took three wickets for Scotland Women in the match with Chloe Abel taking one and Abtaha Maqsood and Priyanaz Chatterji taking one wicket each.

From batting, Saskia Horley was the top performer in the game for Scotland Women who made 37 runs with the help of three fours. She spent 51 minutes in the ground while batting showing she has ability to handle the innings for longer ones.

From bowling, Katherine Fraser and Chloe Abel were the top performers in the game from Scotland Women. Katherine Fraser who bowled four overs took three wickets for 24 runs. Chloe Abel was the another pick from the game who took two wickets in her four overs quota. Katherine bowled at an economy of 6 while Chloe Abel bowled at an economy of 4.
