Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Mike Macdonald and the Seattle Seahawks take on Drake Maye, Mike Vrabel, Stefon Diggs, Milton Williams and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
Stefon Diggs or Mack Hollins, Kayshon Boutte and Hunter Henry will go against one of the best secondaries and defenses in the NFL. The defensive line and backfields for both these teams are spectacular guys like Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy for Seattle are game wreckers while Devon Witherspoon and Nick Emmanwori are great young players who are hard hitting physical defensive backs.
TreVeyon Henderson will be popcorn to watch as the rookie has been very good this year he’ll look to make big explosive plays, lower his pads and block or get tough hard yards on short down and distances or in the Red Zone, Rahmondre Stevenson also remains a huge asset to their offense.
Josh McDaniel’s has taken the Patriots offense to new levels with the Drake Maye MVP debates, with the Will Campbell injury they lost one of their best offensive linemen but with Will Campbell’s return he can help keep Maye upright, who has been beat up the last two weeks by the really good Chargers defense and a great Texans defense being sacked 9 times so far in the Playoffs.
The Milton Williams injury took off a key defender for over a month but his return has made the defense a dominant unit so far, Christian Gonzalez injury was concerning but he played vs Houston, led the team in tackles and is likely a huge factor vs Sam Darnold.
The Zach Charbonnet injury takes one of the best in the league off the field and puts the entire focus on Kenneth Walker. Jaxon Smith Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed are a great group of weapons that will threaten the Patriots secondary.
