Seth Rollins Drops Hint About Masked Attacker at WWE Royal Rumble

The mystery surrounding the masked attacker who blindsided Bron Breakker at the Royal Rumble just took an interesting turn—thanks to Seth Rollins himself

Speaking to Casey Buscher on February 5, 2026, Rollins addressed his status and dropped a cryptic response when asked about the Rumble incident. While he’s still recovering from a shoulder injury, Rollins made it clear that the move used by the mystery attacker—the Stomp—isn’t off-limits for him.

“I’m telling you right now, my shoulder is not fine. I cannot pick you up over my head and throw you anywhere outside of my eye. It’s not fine…But I don’t need my shoulders to do my signature move. So again, I’ll leave it up to you. You can figure it out.”

Those words come just one day after Cory Hays of BodySlam.net reported that WWE ran the masked attacker angle specifically because they expect Rollins to be back before WrestleMania 42.

“WWE expects Rollins back before WrestleMania, which is why they ran the angle,” Hays reported on February 4.

The masked man—who nailed a clean curb stomp to Breakker and then fed him to Oba Femi for elimination—had fans drawing connections ever since the January 31 event. With Rollins now implying that his injury doesn’t affect that particular move, the theory that he was behind the mask just got a major boost.

The chaos continued on the February 2 episode of WWE RAW, where Breakker snapped. He tore up ringside, confronted Adam Pearce and nearly fought his Vision stablemates after demanding answers. Paul Heyman pointed fingers at Pearce, suggesting immigration or travel clearances could hint at the attacker’s identity. Then LA Knight attacked Austin Theory and Logan Paul, plunging everything into even deeper confusion.

Rollins, who’s been out since his shoulder injury at Crown Jewel 2025, recently stated he’s “eyeballing WrestleMania,” but left the decision up to doctors. This new interview suggests WWE is already planting seeds for his return—and they might be hiding him in plain sight. If Rollins is the masked man, it could mark one of the most calculated comebacks WWE has ever pulled off.

Do you think Seth Rollins is secretly behind the Royal Rumble attack—or is WWE trying to mislead us before WrestleMania 42? Drop your theories and join the discussion below.
