Seth Rollins appears to be edging closer to a WWE comeback just weeks before WrestleMania 42.
The former World Heavyweight Champion has been sidelined since September 2025 after Bron Breakker attacked him and ejected him from The Vision. Rollins thereafter relinquished his title and underwent shoulder surgery for an injury suffered at Crown Jewel: Perth.
With nine weeks left until WrestleMania 42, new photos show Rollins training his legs and actively using his arms without obvious discomfort at the gym. This is a strong sign that his recovery is progressing well.
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, WWE is hoping to have him cleared for WrestleMania 42, and speculation is building that he could be revealed as the mystery attacker targeting The Vision.
However, the situation is complicated by Breakker’s own recent hernia surgery, leaving his WrestleMania status unclear and putting a potential Rollins vs. Breakker showdown in doubt.
For now, Rollins’ return to full training marks a major step in WWE’s WrestleMania 42 plans and keeps his Las Vegas status open.
