The new promotion led by Dana White and Nick Khan has officially locked in its next headliner, as Shane Mosley Jr. is set to face Serhii Bohachuk in the main event of Zuffa Boxing 06, in a middleweight clash with meaningful divisional implications.
The bout was announced Sunday during the prelims of Zuffa Boxing 05, which featured Andres Cortesvs. Eridson Garcia as the headliner, airing on Paramount+ and across Zuffa’s digital platforms.
Mosley (22-5, 12 KOs) will be making his promotional debut under the Zuffa banner. The 33 year old is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Jesus Ramos on Dec. 6, where he delivered a competitive effort over 12 rounds. Prior to that setback, Mosley had put together a five fight winning streak, highlighted by a unanimous decision win over former middleweight titlist Daniel Jacobs in July 2024. He is the son of Hall of Famer Shane Mosley.
Bohachuk (27-3, 24 KOs) will enter his second outing with Zuffa Boxing. The hard hitting Ukrainian last fought on Feb. 1, edging Radzhab Butaev via split decision in a competitive 10 round affair. His recent form has been mixed, going 2-2 in his last four bouts, including a narrow majority decision loss to Vergil Ortiz Jr. in 2024 and a second defeat to Brandon Adams in 2025.
The undercard features a series of unbeaten and in form fighters. Julian Rodriguez (25-1, 15 KOs), of Hoboken, New Jersey, will face James Perella (21-0, 15 KOs). Rodriguez is riding a four fight win streak since his lone defeat to Jose Pedraza, most recently earning a unanimous decision over Cain Sandovalat Zuffa Boxing 01 in January. Perella, an unbeaten prospect from Mansfield, Massachusetts, scored two knockout wins in 2025 over Alfredo Rodolfo Blanco and Saul Guadalupe Corral Escalante.
Also on the card, Misael Rodriguez (16-0, 8 KOs) will meet Andreas Katzourakis (16-0, 11 KOs) in a scheduled 10 round middleweight bout. Mexico’s Rodriguez returns following a fourth round stoppage of Austin Deanda at the promotion’s inaugural event in January, while Greece’s Katzourakis makes his promotional debut after a seventh round TKO victory over Roberto Cruz Jr. last May.
