Shawn Michaels Predicts Huge 2026 for This WWE NXT Star

Shawn Michaels sees a star in the making—and her name is Wren Sinclair.

In a recent interview with the San Antonio Express-News, the WWE Hall of Famer and current Senior VP of Talent Development Creative couldn’t stop praising the rising NXT star. Sinclair, a Texas native who debuted in 2024, has already turned heads in the NXT system, and Michaels believes her time is coming sooner than people think.

From the creative team’s perspective, Sinclair is exactly what they want in a modern WWE talent.

“Wren [Sinclair] is one of those people that from a creative standpoint is the joy to get to work with because there isn’t anything that she can’t do,” Michaels said. “She is somebody who has really understood the entertainment aspect of this job while also doing a wonderful job of mastering the in-ring work.”

Beyond her wrestling, Michaels pointed to Sinclair’s ability to perform in a variety of backstage roles—showing off a rare range that separates her from the pack.

“She can do a backstage (segment), and she can be serious one minute and then just incredibly funny in the next,” he added. “In 2026, I can tell you Wren Sinclair is going to have a breakout year.”

Since her debut, Sinclair has aligned herself with Charlie Dempsey and the No Quarter Catch Crew, adding technical credibility to her growing presence in the NXT women’s division. Her mix of character work, in-ring precision, and comedic timing has clearly made an impression on the right people.

Do you think Wren Sinclair has what it takes to break out in 2026? Could she be NXT’s next breakout star? Drop your thoughts in the comments—we want to hear who you’re watching.
