The winter doldrums mean there’s more than enough time to contemplate mountain bike culture between rides. There’s also less incentive to ride my bike to the shop and peruse their tire selection, instead of just clicking “buy now” online. And that got me thinking.
It’s probably about time to roll down to the shop, pet some dogs, and shoot the shit. Maybe I’ll walk out with some new tires. Maybe I’ll buy a bunch of stuff that I didn’t even know I wanted. Regardless, it’s always worth checking in on one of cycling’s finest institutions.
