The fixtures for next year’s tournament have been released in full
Wales will start next Six Nations with a daunting trip to Paris to face France, after the full fixture list for the 2027 tournament were released.
Steve Tandy’s side have three away matches next season – with trips to Edinburgh and Rome coming in round two and five respectively. They then host Ireland and England in Cardiff either side of the fallow week.
There are two Friday night matches in next year’s tournament. The first sees Ireland hosting England in Dublin to begin the tournament on February 5.
Then, in round four, it’s Scotland’s turn to experience a Friday Six Nations match – hosting the Irish at Murrayfield on March 5.
All five of Wales’ matches fall on Saturdays next year – having played both a Friday and Sunday match in this year’s tournament.
If Wales’ start is tricky, heading to France before going away to Scotland on Valentine’s weekend, then England will be ruing their nightmare start.
After the trip to Dublin on the opening weekend, they host France on the second weekend.
The tournament concludes with the usual Super Saturday. Wales get things under way against Italy in the first match in Rome, before there’s a Calcutta Cup clash between England and Scotland at Twickenham.
The final match then sees the tournament end where it began, with Ireland hosting France in Dublin.
