Normal golfers like to see what their favorite TOUR pro is playing.
I prefer to see what my favorite TOUR pro is wearing.
I’ve often said I make “shoe contact” before eye contact, and that Connor-ism rings true with professional golfers as well.
Despite leaving the Swoosh a few months ago, Tommy Fleetwood had, up until recently, been sticking with the NIKE Victory Pro 4 as his footwear of choice.
That changed (as did his hat sponsor) this week at the Valero. I was scrolling through early photos from the tournament and noticed something interesting, albeit not all that surprising.
Fleetwood switched into the Sun Day Red Presidio. Not just any pair, though. A spiked pair … one that doesn’t exist on the retail shelves.
Not sure if it will ever exist at retail. Nor what it means for Fleetwood’s future as a footwear free agent. That said, it was just something interesting that I noticed.
What are your thoughts? Is the Sun Day Red Presidio something you could see yourself wearing? Sound off down below.
