Antoine Semenyo enjoyed what could be a fairytale final appearance for Bournemouth as he netted a late winner against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
The Ghana international has been heavily linked with a move away from the south coast side, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that the attacker is set to join Manchester City in the coming days.
Spurs had taken an early lead on the south coast when Mathys Tel found the back of the net, only for Evanilson to draw the hosts level midway through the first half.
Eli Junior Kroupi then put Andoni Iraola’s side ahead, before Joao Palhinha levelled things up once again.
The game looked to be heading for a draw, until Semenyo’s winner deep into added time sealed a memorable victory for the Cherries.
In the wake of the game, it is emerging that the defeat could have huge consequences for Spurs boss Thomas Frank.
As per indykaila News, an emergency crisis meeting has been called for Thursday morning by those in charge of Spurs following the loss against Bournemouth.

It is claimed that one unnamed member of the Tottenham hierarchy is ‘demanding’ that the Dane is sacked by the club following their dismal run of form.
Frank only took charge of Spurs at the start of the current campaign, but the north London outfit have since won just seven of their 21 Premier League matches and sit 14th in the top flight standings at present.
The Lilywhites finished 17th in the Premier League last season under Ange Postecoglou, who was then sacked despite winning the Europa League.
Frank arrived at Spurs with a strong reputation having enjoyed a successful spell with former side Brentford, but the Dane’s time in north London so far hasn’t gone to plan.
It is claimed that the meeting on Thursday morning will focus on Frank’s future, with the ex-Bees boss clearly under immense pressure.
