Stats: Most Hat-tricks by Teams in ODI Cricket

A hattrick in cricket is when a bowler takes three wickets in three consecutive deliveries, and it is an event that occurs very rarely. The supporting fact is that in more than 50 years of ODI cricket, only 50 hattricks have been recorded in the format. However, the impact that the hattrick has on the bowling team is enormous, as it enables them to exert maximum pressure on the batting side. The batting team will lose all the momentum they would have had, and it leaves them with little time to get back into the contest.

Hence, hattricks, though less frequent, are a very significant feat in international cricket, and it will have a great bearing on the match when it does happen. Here are the “Most ODI Hattricks by Teams.”.
