Stephen Amell Teases Appearance at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas

Stephen Amell may not be returning to the ring full-time—but he is teasing a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 42.

In a brand-new interview with iHeartRadio Canada on February 10, 2026, Amell revealed that while he hasn’t been keeping up with AEW, he’s been closely following WWE—and strongly hinted that fans will see him on Night Two of this year’s WrestleMania in Las Vegas.

“I’m not up to date with AEW. I’m certainly up to date with WWE. We are on the road to WrestleMania. I think I’m going to make a cameo on night two at WrestleMania this year,” Amell said.

While Amell didn’t offer any details about what kind of cameo to expect, this marks the first time he’s directly linked himself to WrestleMania 42, fueling speculation about which segment or match he might be involved in.

This update comes months after Amell told fans at Comic-Con Midlands in 2025 that he had no interest in competing regularly again. At the time, he cited the brutal toll of pro wrestling on the body and joked that stepping into the ring “once every 10 years” was enough for him.

Still, Amell has history with both WWE and AEW. He wrestled at SummerSlam 2015 alongside Neville against Stardust and King Barrett, and later appeared at All In 2018, taking on Christopher Daniels.

Even if he’s not lacing up the boots again, a WrestleMania cameo keeps him in the conversation—especially at a time when WWE is pulling out all the stops for its Las Vegas mega-event.
