Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior will hope to continue his fine start to life in west London when his side host Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Englishman has overseen four wins and a draw in the Premier League since taking charge of the Blues last month, although the ex-Hull City boss will be desperate to see his side bounce back from their 2-2 draw against Leeds United in their last league outing.
Ahead of the visit of the Clarets, it has emerged that one of Chelsea’s struggling stars is high on the list of a Premier League rival’s transfer targets.
According to Football Insider, Everton have made Chelsea striker Liam Delap their ‘top target’ ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
The report claims that the Toffees have identified the Englishman as a target as they look to bolster David Moyes’ squad this summer.
Delap joined the Blues from Ipswich Town last summer, having netted 12 times in the Premier League for the Tractor Boys last term.

Since moving to Stamford Bridge, though, the striker has struggled in front of goal and scored just once in the Premier League so far.
Chelsea paid £30 million to sign Delap from Ipswich last summer, but the report claims that the Blues are ready to allow the player to depart Stamford Bridge already after a difficult debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.
It is claimed that those in charge of the Blues’ recruitment are keen to sell Delap and recoup a fee similar to the amount they paid in order to sign a new senior striker.
Delap signed a long-term contract until 2031 when he joined Chelsea last summer, but it appears increasingly likely that he will depart west London in the coming months.
