India crushed Bangladesh in 2nd Test in Kanpur. Only 35 overs were possible in the opening day and the next two days were washed out. India bowled out Bangladesh for 233 on 4th Day and quickly scored 285/9 before declaring their innings.
India bowled out Bangladesh for 146 and chased target of 95 easily to win the game. During the poor display of Bangladesh, Athar Ali from the commentary box asked Sunil Gavaskar for advice for the batters of Bangladesh.
“Sunny Ji, what advice would you give to the Bangladeshi batsman in the dressing room if you had a chance?” he asked. Gavaskar left the viewers in splits with his funny response and said: “As an Indian, I would say get out.,” replied Gavaskar.
Bangladesh played 74.2 overs in their first innings and could only play 47 overs in their second inning. India only batter for 34 overs and broke plenty of records.
