It will be the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. New England’s return to the top of the mountain in the AFC concluded with a 10-7 victory in snowy Denver on Sunday afternoon. In the NFC Championship, the Seahawks took down the division-rival Rams 31-27.

This is a showdown between two quarterbacks who were — or still are — in the mix for NFL MVP honors. Although Drake Maye of the Patriots and Sam Darnold of the Seahawks are unproven on the biggest stage in football, both have been outstanding this season. Weather conditions in the AFC title game prevented New England from doing much of anything on offense, but Maye still came up with some clutch plays under pressure. Darnold was awesome from start to finish in the NFC Championship.
The star power in this Super Bowl matchup also includes Seattle WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is going to be named NFL Offensive Player of the Year. All things considered, I think two dynamic offenses will have the upper hand over two stout defenses. New England averaged 28.8 ppg during the regular season; Seattle averaged 28.4.
