Week one of Super Rugby Americas (SRA) is in the history books. It saw a perfect four wins from Argentine teams. Os Cobras was the only non-Argentine competitor to come away with a bonus point in defeat. Will Argentine also dominate in week two?
Week two SRA action starts on Friday with Peñarol playing host to Los Tarucas in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is the reigning champions looking to rebound from a very underwhelming debut against debutants, Los Capibaras. Meanwhile, Los Tarucas are looking for more of the same after they started their SRA season very strongly against Selknam.
Selknam have home advantage in the first of three Saturday fixtures. The Chileans take-on Yacare in Santiago. Saturday action also sees Los Capibaras at home against Os Cobras and a derby in Buenos Aires between Los Pampas and Los Dogos.

- Peñarol enter with sweeping changes in the forwards. Big names from World Cups are back including Manuel Diana and regular captain Felipe Aliaga.
- Elsewhere Mateo Perillo, Joaquín Myszka, Pedro Suárez, all start this week for Peñarol.
- Los Tarucas have made two changes: Tomás Dante starts at flanker and Estanlislao Presto starts at scrum-half. They replace Facundo Cardozo and Matías Sauze respectively.
- Peñarol’s scrum and lineout were notable failures in week one. Ivo Dugonjic notes that addressing them were key focus areas this week.
- Two Argentine officials will referee the four matches. Missing is Damian Schneider who is in France officiating Clermont vs Bayonne this weekend.
