Pakistan secured their place in the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with a comprehensive win over Namibia, becoming the final side to qualify.
They will face New Zealand in the opening Super 8 fixture in Colombo. Reigning champions India meet South Africa in a repeat of the 2024 final.
Group 1 features India, Zimbabwe, West Indies and South Africa. Group 2 comprises Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England and New Zealand.
Each team plays the other three sides in their group once. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi finals.
All teams begin the Super 8 stage on zero points. Results, wins and net run rate from the first round are not carried forward.
