With NXT Vengeance Day in the past, the NXT roster is ready to secure themselves a spot at the next premium live event, NXT Stand & Deliver, taking place April 4, 2026.
Lots of chatter on tonight’s episode of NXT set up ideas for what could take place there.
First and foremost, Robert Stone announced that there would be a tournament to determine who gets the next shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship at this premium live event. The Vanity Project (who will be in action next week against Los Americanos) had gloated about how they can go longer in the ring than three minutes, which convinced “Super” Sean Legacy and Eli Knight—who had both pinned Jasper Troy on tonight’s episode—to team up and add their names to the division, where they will be alongside The Culling, The Belly Boys, and Birthright in this tournament.
OTM’s Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, as well as DarkState, were also supposed to be in the mix for this tournament, but once they started to fight in Stone’s office, he removed them from the lineup, seemingly making this a four team tournament of just three matches, similar to what’s been happening with the WWE Speed tournaments.
Next week, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will face two as yet unclarified members of Birthright (Uriah Connors, Lexis King, Stacks, or Charlie Dempsey) in their first round match.
As far as what else was teased for Stand & Deliver, rather than announced, Lola Vice intends to face whoever wins the NXT Women’s Championship Triple Threat match next week (between Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca, and Zaria), and hopes it is Sol Ruca.
Tony D’Angelo has put Joe Hendry on notice that he’s coming for the NXT Championship, while Ethan Page scored the win over Hendry in a tag team match against Myles Borne this week, alongside Ricky Saints, which may inform Page and/or Saints being in the title hunt in one way or another for either of those belts.
With that in mind, this is all we know for sure will take place at NXT Stand & Deliver so far:
- Tag Team Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship: The Vanity Project’s Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) vs. TBD (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger, The Culling, Eli Knight & “Super” Sean Legacy, or Birthright)
