Los Tarucas were beaten at their home ground: La Caldera del Parque; yet, they came away as winners off-the-field as 12,554 spectators attended the match. The Tucumán team joined SRA in 2025.

SRA expansion in 2026 saw Los Capibaras joining. Early signs are that the team based in Argentina’s Litoral has fit in well to SRA. Additional expansion to SRA is expected in coming seasons. Possibilities go beyond Argentina to include Chile and Uruguay.

Meanwhile, Corrientes, Argentina will play host to a SRA match this coming weekend. El Chaco will stage Yacare vs Los Tarucas. The match has been moved 300km south from Asunción, Paraguay to Corrientes, Argentina. Corrientes is a significant city in north-eastern Argentina.
