Travis Kelce is officially part of Taylor Swift’s team on her latest musical success.

Travis Kelce has yet to announce whether he’s ready to retire or return for what would be his 14th season in the NFL.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid offered the latest update earlier this week. “There is communication,” Reid told reporters via Zoom. “That’s the main thing. I’ve said this before to you: as long as there’s communication, I’m good. That means people want to move forward, and I think that’s where Trav is.

“I’m not trying to put words in his mouth at all, and I try to give him some space here. He’s been doing this a long time, and he can sort all that out as he goes forward, but we’re proceeding with that, and there is communication going on.”

The veteran previously announced he’d reveal his final decision before free agency started in March. Kelce finished the 2025 season with 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns, proving he’s still got more left in the tank.

While Kelce mulls over his future, he’s been a busy man. Kelce attended multiple events in San Francisco leading up to Super Bowl LX and participated in two golf tournaments. The 11-time Pro Bowler also helped produce the latest remix of his fiancée Taylor Swift’s latest single, “Opalite,” a song inspired by their romance.

One week after the remix dropped, Swift received some incredible news.

‘Opalite’ Slated to Reach No. 1 on Next Week’s Billboard Hot 100 After Record Week in Sales

Shortly after the remix of “Opalite” dropped,  the single earned the biggest pure sales week in the U.S. with 170,000 units. It’s the biggest week for a female artist since “Anti-Hero” in 2022.

Talk of the Charts posted, “Taylor Swift’s ‘Opalite’ is predicted to have sold more U.S. sales than all 99 other songs charting on the Billboard Hot 100 this week combined.”

“Opalite” is the second single from Swift’s latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Not only did the album make history in sales its first week (4.002 million), Swift also became the first artist to ever have all 12 songs from an album land a spot in the Top 12.

While Swift has kept a low profile over the past few weeks, there’s a rumor she’s planning to attend the Brit Awards on February 28. Should Swift go, fans hope Kelce accompanies her to the ceremony.

The Sun reported earlier this week that Swift arrived in the United Kingdom with “an enormous entourage of more than 20 people.”

“Taylor is hiding out in London at the moment and is scheduled to visit Manchester, which seems like she could be lined up for a surprise appearance at the Brit Awards,” a source told the outlet. “Taylor was handed the Global Icon Award at the ceremony back in 2021 and has a huge amount of respect for the Brits. She loves it.”
