Women’s

Emma Shinney

Shinney was the central figure in the Gulls’ historic 77-74 overtime win against Tufts, the first in the history of the Endicott women’s basketball program.  She logged the program’s first triple double, scoring 23 on 11-14 shooting, dishing out 11 assists, and pulling down 11 boards.  Shinney also played a season-high 43 minutes.

 

 

Sofia Berisha

Berisha, a junior transfer from Babson, helped the Judges defeat her former team, 64-52, in their only game this holiday week. She scored 17 points with seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals, tying season- and career-highs in points and assists and setting a career-high in steals. Berisha helped the Judges outscore the Beavers 18-5 in the second period, and lead the Judges to their first 6-0 start in nearly two decades.

 

Claudia Harrington

Harrington led the Muskies to a 2-0 record at the Transylvania Tournament. She averaged 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game in wins over Asbury and Maryville. Harrington scored a career-high 27 points against Maryville.  She shot 62% from the floor and 56% from the three point line on the weekend.

 

Carolae Barton

Barton turned in an exceptional three-game stretch for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women’s basketball team last week, averaging 23 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, leading the Mariners to a 2-1 record (with the loss coming against No. 1 NYU). She shot 64% from the field for the week and 80% from the free-throw line.  Barton opened the week with a double-double performance in the Mariners’ 56-53 victory over Farmingdale State, collecting a season-high 17 rebounds.

 

Natalie Gricius

Gricius averaged 31 points and eight rebounds in two huge wins this week.  She shot 8-11 from the field in knocking off UChicago and then had a career high 39 points on 15-18 shooting, along with 10 rebounds in a victory over Ripon.  Gricius shot 79% from the field and 57% from the three point line, she also had three steals over the two games.

 

Men’s

Kolden Vanlandingham

Vanlandingham led North Park to a triple-overtime win over UW-Stevens Point on Saturday, posting career highs in points and assists, with 39 and 10 respectively.  He was the focal point of the offense throughout the game, shooting 61% from the field and 50% (5-10) from the three point line.  He also had two steals in the game.

 

Alex Zakheim

Zakheim paced the Judges last week, averaging 25 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals per game, shooting 73% from the field, 50% from 3-point range and 73% from the FT line. In a 74-68 loss to Clark, Zakheim scored a career-high 30 points on 11-13 from the field, 3-3 from deep, and 5-6 from the line. In an 86-75 win over UMass Boston, he notched a team-high 20 points with six rebounds and seven assists.

 

Bryce Williams

Williams came as close as possible to perfection in Anderson’s win over Trine this holiday week.  He was a perfect 6-6 from the floor, hitting both FTs and had zero turnovers, while scoring 15 points, grabbing five boards, and dishing nine assists.  He also had three steals in the game.

 

Boluwasefe John

John led Clark with an average of 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and two steals in two games played this week. In a 74-68 victory over Brandeis, John scored 18 points, grabbed five rebounds, and blocked two shots. In Saturday’s game against Nichols, John posted a double-double with a career-high 23 points and 11 rebounds, while tallying five assists, four steals, and two blocks. 

 

Anthony Pryzbilla

Pryzbilla averaged 21 points, five rebounds, and three assists over three games this week.  He put up back to back career highs in scoring, including a massive 35 points against Rhodes in the Scholars Classic. Pryzbilla shot 69% from the floor and 80% from both the three point and FT lines.
